Perfect swab to clean SCV Module of Vision-R 800 and Vision-R 700
When disinfecting products between each patient, it may be necessary to clean SCV modules to remove
any traces of dust, dirt, makeup etc.
WARNING : Never use the swabs for your ears
The procedure :
- Before cleaning with the cotton swabs, make sure that no foreign bodies are present on the ocular.
- If necessary, vacuum suction to remove this material.
- Use one cotton swab per module.
- Moisten the tip (white part) of the cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol (cleanser, antiseptic and disinfectant).
- Do not soak or dip the cotton swab directly into alcohol.
- Then fold the tip to obtain a larger cleaning surface.
- Then apply the edge of the tip to the center of the module and clean the module by making circular movements from the center outwards.
Precaution
- Do not use wipes or your fingers to clean the modules.
- Do not use a tool other than the cotton swabs for cleaning SCV modules (screwdriver, pen tip) as you run the risk of damaging them.
- Always use a microfiber fabric to clean the outer parts of the product.
- Do not use a cleaner or disinfectant for cleaning the Vision-R 700 and 800 (console, refraction head or power supply). The elements in these products can damage the hood and cause malfunctions. It is necessary to use only the wipes and products delivered with the Vision-R.
- Do not spray isopropyl alcohol directly onto the refraction head or console.
